My #PledgeToListen
I pledge to listen to you. Will you listen to me?
I pledge to listen to others who hold different opinions, views or beliefs. I will try to understand their reasons and their perspectives and will respectfully express my own in return. That’s it.

The divisiveness we are experiencing is really concerning. This pledge is in line with my purpose in life which is to increase connections.

Because I believe whole heartedly what Cesar said about the various parts in all of us. If I can bring a loving, connected presence to the interaction – to any interaction – oftentimes I notice my own and other peoples’ parts softening thereby paving the way for more heart centered dialogue and understanding, even if we agree to disagree in the end.
